WELCOME
Welcome, and thank you for choosing Chile as your destination.
Given Chile´s geographic location, we know that you must have a specific interest in visiting us and that you have had to travel long distances, perhaps involving several stopovers, to arrive. But now that you are in your hotel room, we hope our magazine will be your gateway into the country´s cultures and landscapes.
TRIPCHILE is a new magazine, available in print and online, that seeks to satisfy the visitor´s curiosity about Chile´s people, places and history, as well as providing the necessary information to make your stay in our country a pleasant one. Recognizing that tourism is not only the reason that people come to Chile, the magazine will also cover areas of Chilean life of interest to members of the business community.
We want our magazine to be:
- Easily Available : You will find TRIPCHILE in hotel rooms up and down the country.
- Comfortable to Read : The magazine is printed in a handy A4 format.
- Collectable : Coming out four times a year (Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer), covering issues relevant to each season.
- Multimedia : As well as the print edition, you can also read TRIPCHILE online at www.tripchile.com . The site also provides an online booking service.
- Understandable : Following an analysis of Chile´s tourism market, we have decided to focus on being the country´s only magazine, covering the areas of culture, business and tourism, written 100% in English.
- Interesting : The magazine´s aim is to inform the reader about Chile , in all its aspects, through well-researched articles and photojournalism.
- Balanced : We consider it of prime importance to maintain an editorial balance and independence to show the country in a realistic manner without preconceptions of any type.
Through the magazine, we want you to come to know the many facets of Chile : its varied geography; its vigorous economy; and its charming people. The deserts of the North are the driest in the world, rich in mineral deposits and preserve the archaeological remains of cultures that are thousands of years old. The Central Valley is Chile´s orchard, producing some of the world´s best fruit and wines, much of it for export, as well as being home to the country´s largest cities. The South of Chile abounds in beautiful landscapes, dotted with lakes, forests and volcanoes. Further south, Patagonia is a breathtaking wilderness mostly untouched by Man. So whether you are here on business or for pleasure, for just a few days or several months, submerge yourself in Chile and you will take away unforgettable memories of your stay. TRIPCHILE seeks to be a souvenir in print of your time spent in this land on the edge of the world.
Welcome to TRIPCHILE "Tourism, Business & Culture"
